Looking for a unique present for someone on your list who appreciates beauty? Vessels of Light is a photopoetry book of inspirations from a spiritual landscape. Born of a friendship between a poet and a photographer, each page marries word to image.

When read aloud like a prayer, these poetic snapshots are a self-guided tour of whimsy and wonder, allowing the reader to see with fresh eyes.

NOTE: all images in the book are available as prints. Contact me with questions.

As Rabbi Ellen Lippmann says in the foreword,

This book arrives as an invitation to find light as you know it and as you have never seen it.

A magical little book, Vessels of Light is a poem, a song, and a meditation all at once.

Rabbi Scott Sperling continues,

Vessels of Light comes to us at the intersection of creativity and spirituality and takes us to a realm of imagination that is both dreamlike and deeply rooted in the physical world.

Let all who are inspired, moved and blessed by these images and this poetry, say AMEN

A few reviews from Amazon buyers:

The collection is very touching. I got a feeling of comfort & protection from reading it. The presence of God in this messed up world becomes evident. The images have harmony. The words speak what the images convey. What a success.

Vessels of Light is a lovely book which merges words and images to bestow peace. How appropriate to publish it right before Passover. It will help to heal this world and, hopefully, many of the people in it.

These beautiful poems and images work in tandem to uplift our spirits! I highly recommend!

Such a beautiful, poignant, inspiring offering. I love how the book unfolds, one piece of art and one small lyric per pair of pages. The art is really moving and the verse is sparse, inventive, whimsical, and instructive.

Profound photographic creativity, coupled with beautiful expressive poetry, give light, peace, and hope in challenging times. With great thanks, Amen.
