As a visual storyteller, I explore the beauty of nature as an expression of faith, wonder, and the vastness of what we cannot fully know. By re-imagining reality, I transform apparently unremarkable scenes into something quietly magical and contemplative. Just as I enter these fantasy landscapes with an open heart, I invite viewers to step inside and discover the sacred within the everyday.

Ultimately, my work is an offering: a series of reverent spaces where healing can emerge.

I share Douglas Beasley's belief that photos could "become poems or prayers . . . a vehicle of mystical interpretation."

Born in Washington, DC, I grew up surrounded by art. I earned a BA in French (Emory University) and an MA in English (University of Pittsburgh). During summer studies in Avignon, France, I explored the Louvre and other magnificent galleries.  

My early photography focused on intimate landscapes. Now, I create images that do not exist in the real world, but rely on form, texture, and color to open the imagination to emotion and myth.  

I am grateful to these photographers/educators for their teaching and inspiration: Valda Bailey, Susan Burnstine, Doug Chinnery, Tillman Crane, Phil Douglis, Alison Shaw, Eddie Soloway, Sal Taylor Kydd, Vincent Versace and LeeAnne White.

My work has been juried into exhibitions in the US, Canada, the UK, and Europe, including permanent exhibits in Italy and Maryland.
