If there were a way we could use photography to help foster good health, wouldn’t we jump to make that happen? Thanks to an innovative campaign created by “Thrive! Healthy People, Healthy Planet,” two of my water images were chosen to be part of an exhibition that begins its journey around the United States at the Taubman Health Center in Ann Arbor, MI.

Second image - Water Patterns
The exhibition, featuring images from works made by photographers around the world, illuminates the essentials of health for people and the planet: Air, Water, Food, Shelter, Energy, Community, Safety, Biodiversity, and Purpose.
The goal? To encourage viewers to reflect on how their own relationship with nature impacts them physically and emotionally. “Individuals and communities are invited to consider how they might act for their own health and the health of the planet.”
