I love to be surrounded by layers of blues and greens. Here, I imagine that I am under water, in a luminous landscape. The large circular form glows softly behind a thin line of winter-bare trees. Its edges blur into the textured sky. On the bottom are two sweeping, wave-like bands creating the sense of ocean or topography in motion.
But it’s the foreground that fascinates me most. Several fractured architectural remnants feel dark, weathered, even partially dissolved into the terrain. Their mottled and peeling surfaces feel like ruins, suspended between solidity and disappearance.
Fine scratches and organic marks are etched throughout, adding a tactile, distressed surface that evokes time, erosion, and quiet endurance.
Landscape meets abstraction. Ruin, water, and light merge into a hushed, suspended moment.
