Secret Kingdom
This series of gently rounded shapes, all bisected by curved lines in a palette of golds and browns, includes sprinklings of reds and greens. It suggests a magical world or even the dreamworld of our subconscious.
When we take a walk into this kind of imagery, we can be entirely free, without restraints. We can simply imagine. Contrasting textures and colors give the image a dynamic feeling. It even has a vintage feel, especially the background layer.
I was honored to have it selected for several competitions, including Gallerium Art's "Shapes and Colors" online international exhibit and MAGIX 2022 which called for art that extends
"our surreal possibilities . . . and gives birth to a dreamlike fantasy world."
