These images are intimate portraits of some of my favorite captures taken in Maine, Nova Scotia, and the Shenandoah Valley.
A well-loved boat sits in the harbor, waiting for its next outing. A simple barn door is classically red and cracked with age and makes me wonder what has jumped through the hidey hole. My guitar is all lines and curves, dust included. And several images are color studies: a sepia fencepost, a bronze ladle, a simple shadow.
